Job Description - Summary

This position will assist instructors with lab setups and overall classroom management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Helping with ELC 228 class labs
• Lab set up
• Review student’s hands on work before they can move on to next project
• Help with clean up

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers/administrators, faculty, staff, students, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as those needed for the interpretation/creation of graphs, logical equations, and permutations..

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Required Qualifications

Associate degree in Electronic Engineering or Mechatronics related fields; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or Mechatronics or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
